OVERSEAS TERRITORIES
The State of Angalicania and the Imperial Federation-Islands have since colonial age had the custodianship of several overseas territories. Currently the People's Government has the custody of thirteen (13) overseas territories: all of them who're under the supervision of the General Secretariat of State. In addition, the Cantonal Government of Roseport has the custodianship of one (1) overseas territory, the Cantonal Government of the Imperial Federation-Islands of two (2) and the Cantonal Government of Carmichael of one (1). As the People's Government is an central government, these territories is formally under the jurisdiction of the People's Government as well, even if they're de facto managed by these Cantons.
During primary the 16th, 17th and 18th centuries (but already as early as the 15th century). the predecessors inhabiting the Hof-Island participated in the international colonialization. The colonialization expired in two periods, the first periods during the 16th and 18th centuries and the second period between the 18th and 19th centuries. At it's height between 1841 and 1917, the Angalicanian Empire (and later on the Facilid Republic) controlled 9.5 percentage of the total area of the Earth.
During the Facilid Reign, the overseas colonies and territories were heavily oppressed. The Facilid Government (with its seat in Velvet) appointed brutal and cruel Rulers who's tyranny lead to massive protests and uprisings. In for example the Pity of Brisbane (today's Queensland), local citizens took the power of them own and executed the Ruler - including several officials and sergeants. When the Facilids (because of the distance, three days later) got the information of the actions, they commanded two squads of soldiers who should operate fire bombings of residents blocks in Brisbane, Di'Costa (today's Gold Coast) and St Merrighan (today's Townsville). The many thousand of sea miles took almost four to five months. When the soldiers arrived, the British Empire had seized power over the colony and refused the soldiers to border. During the Facilid Reign, many other colonies and territories were seized by the Brits or the Frenchmen - or declared independent. In other colonies however, the Facilids stroked down with extra cruelty and brutally crushed all protests.
The organized decolonization begun with the fall of the Facilid Reign and got renaissances after the Second World War during the Willhard Government who succeeded into power in the 1950s. The Socialist Party as well as the Moderate Assembly were in higher extent positive to independence, while the Congregationists where fierce critics and advocated a tough policy towards the independence movements in these countries. After the Socialists- and Moderate Assembly Governments during the 50s and the early 60s, the decolonization era took speed and in the early 1970s, almost every major colony or territory had been granted independence.
When the Angalicanian Empire (and the Facilid Reign) were at its height, the (today know countries of) Chile, Argentina, Uruguay, Panama, Costa Rica, islands in the Caribbean (Minos de Terra, Bacardi, Saint Jerome, Antigua and Barbuda, Gualacárdona, Islas de Malbas, Alba-Chertaince, Porto Quranto, Islas Egerias, Port Paterson and St Iván) Thailand, Malaya, Chad, Liberia, Namibia, the Seychelles, Georgia, Azerbaijan, North Turkey, Antarctica, East Cumberland, New Albury, St Nicholas and the Midwales, islands in the pacific (Tuvalu, Vanuatu, Varela di Fuerezzi, Cahls Baldwin, Fawcette Islands, Sandbar, Santa Coughley, Blackland, Kuenns Islands, Neratu, Achalu, St Oliver and Heffney, New Chansing, Santa Alberta, Rhunesia, Mayport and Fiaro de Carvahlo), where a part of the State.

STATUS OF THE TERRITORIES:
In difference of for example the British Overseas Territories, the Angalicanian Overseas Territories is an integral part of the State but is not a part of the European Union. Instead, the territories has a special status within the union (Special Member State Territories). The language of jurisdiction is English, the currency is the Angalicanian a-cup, the population is counted in the census and the citizens are Angalicanian citizens as ordinary as the mainland citizens: with voting rights to the General Assembly and the European Parliament. However, in for example censuses as unemployment rate, growth etc the territories is most often excluded from the data and accounted separately.
As the State of Angalicania and the Imperial Federation-Islands is a single-constituency in the elections to the European Parliament, the citizen votes at the general ballots. In the elections to the Chamber of Deputies, the territories of Minos de Terra, Cahls Baldwin, Islas de Malba and Fiero de Carvahlo is individually separate electorates with a proportional number of State Deputies for ballot. The rest of the territories is corporates in joint electorates: the territories of of Bacardi and Gualacárdona makes for example together up an own electorate. This is also the case with St Iván, Mayport and Rhunesia together with Sandbar as well as Varela di Furezzi together with Santa Coughley and the Bouchard Islands. As Angalicanian Antarctica doesn't have any permanent residents, the residents votes in the state districts they're censused in (but has the possibility of voting overseas by postal votes).
Elections to the Senate of the Nation is more complicated. The overseas citizens doesn't constitute an own electorate but rather belongs to the cantonal electorates. For example, Minos de Terra, Bacardi and Gualacárdona (the caribbean territories) belongs, in the Senate election, to the Canton of the Imperial Federation-Islands. Most of the territories belongs to the least-populated Cantons to make the electorates more proportional. However, this also reduced the impact of the votes and the possibility for overseas citizens of running for the Senate as their votes makes up a smaller, not to say marginal, amount of the electorate.
