NATIONAL SECURITY COUNCIL
The National Security Council is a council of the Government of the State of Angalicania and the Imperial Federation-Islands; judicial equivalent to the Council of Ministers and the Economic and Social Council even though the procedures and powers are vastly different. The National Security Council is unlike from many other national security bodies not a committee of the Council of Ministers but with the delegates authority of coordinating policy and government business.
The National Security Council - or the NSC as it's usually called, is managing affairs relating to national security. It includes intelligence affairs, surveillance, foreign affairs, diplomacy, defence, energy/resource protections, crisis management, security, law enforcement, emergency preparedness and public safety. The National Security Council is composed by seniors Councilors of State - often members of the Executive Committee but also uniformed and public servant officers.
The Chairman of the People's Government is the chair of the Council. The Council convenes at the command of the Chairman as usually sits regularly 2-3 times a month and could be called in at emergency. The Council is often used as the supreme crisis management council of the People's Government.
