The People's Council of the Judiciary is the supreme governing body of the Judiciary: as such overseeing all judicial bodies including Courts, Tribunals, Boards, Conferences and Judgemenship. The People's Council of the Judiciary is equal to the National Council of the Judiciary of Poland, the General Council of the Judiciary of Spain, the High Council of the Judiciary of Italy and the Judicial Conference of the United States. The Council has both an governing and administrative function as the principal and governing body of the Judicial Branch of the State but has also an advisory responsibility. The Council is the responsible advisory body for the People's Government and the General Assembly in matters relating to the judicial organization the State, legal process legislation and prosecuting affairs.

1 SUPREME COURT OF STATE

• Court of last resort for all legal matters with the jurisdiction over the whole of the State
• Court of last resort for matters managed by the National Reserve Court, the National Court of Internal Affairs, the General Labor Tribunal, the State Court of Appeals for the Armed Services, the State Immigration and Asylum Tribunal and the High Tribunal of Law Enforcement Services.

(The Judicial Administration is formally a part of the nation Attorney-Generals Office but works foremost as the cantonal branch of the judiciary and administers as well as coordinates the cantonal judicial services in the Canton responsible.
